Accomplishments

Through much struggle and trial and error, everything should be working correctly.  It was stressful, but I feel so much better.

I added a GALLERY page.  I'm super excited about that! It doesn't show all of the things we have baked, but I will be uploading more pics soon.  I hope to be posting a table full of treat baskets that are ready for delivery!!! :) 

It feels good to enjoy doing something that other people can also enjoy.

Oh my goodness!!!

This is harder than I thought!  So many details I didn't think of in my haste, but alas!!!  There is a way to order and actually pay for these delicious treats I am anxious to share with you. It is located on the bottom of the Holiday Treat Boxes and Cookie Boxes page of this blog.

I originally was going to do linzer cookies this year, but opted for florentine sandwich cookies instead.  They are delicate cookies with chocolate in the middle.  YUMMY!

It's funny, I am already thinking of things to add next year to the treat boxes.  The ideas just keep coming!

Onward and upward!!!  This is so exciting!

Something new

Just tried a new cupcake recipe. It's delish. My hubby taste tested and he loved them,  and that was without frosting.  Now to try one with buttercream. May have a new addition! 

Update: These cupcakes are very versatile.  They are delicious without frosting, which makes them a great breakfast "muffin", and they are great with the frosting as well.

Oatmeal, pumpkin spice... welcome to the family!!!

Craft Show success

Well, I participated in my very first craft show this weekend.  It was a good time!  We did pretty well and sold many treats, including mini pecan pies, pumpkin spice "twinkies", oatmeal chocolate chunk cookies and pecan pie bread pudding!  So, no complaints there.  I also sold many crochet items.  A separate blog for that will be coming soon. :)

I got an order for 14 dozen cookies and 2 tentative orders for pecan pie bread pudding and pumpkin spice "twinkies".  AWESOME!  I hope this is indicative of what my Thanksgiving/Christmas orders will be.  I hope to get MANY orders this year for treats!

It's been a while

It's been a while since I posted anything here.  Life happens and unfortunately this blog was moved to the back burner.  However, I am BACK!!!  I will post more later.
